New Haw Community School is situated in a pleasant outer suburban area three miles east of Woking and about 15 minutes' walk from West Byfleet Station which is on the main line from Waterloo.

The school shares a site with The Grange Community Infant School and is located adjacent to Green Belt land to the north of New Haw. There are approximately 360 children on roll at any given time.

The school is a light and airy building comprising 12 class bases, 4 group teaching rooms, a music room, 4 additional study/work areas and a well-stocked, open-plan library area. All year groups benefit from having Assistant Teachers for English and maths.

The curriculum is planned by year group teams who meet weekly to plan and evaluate pupils’ work.

New Haw is a popular, over-subscribed, friendly school with outstanding SATS results. The school was inspected by Ofsted in February 2023 and was graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.  In addition, the school also holds Artsmark Gold, Geography Mark and the Healthy Schools Award.
