The training takes place in the school grounds and the purpose of the training is to teach the basic skills for cycling on the road.  Places are limited and will be allocated on a ‘first come basis’.

Your child will need their bike (roadworthy inclusive of working brakes, non rusty chain, inflated tyres and seat set at the correct height).  A helmet and suitable clothing.  The course will continue regardless of weather conditions, so wet weather clothing is recommended.  Please note that without this equipment, your child will not be able to take part. 

Your child should come to school dressed for bikeability, but school uniform must be brought into school as the children will change into uniform for afternoon lessons.

This is a one day course and will be held on either the 16^th, 17^th or 18^th April
