Data Protection
Schools, Local Authorities, the DfE and other eductional bodies that process personal data about pupils are required by the Data Protection Act 1998 to issue a Fair Processing Notice to parents to inform them and their child/ren of the purposes for which that personal data may be hald and used. The summary version (layer1) was sent to all parents in November 2007. The condensed (Layer2) and full text (layer 3) are available to download from the links below. A hard copy of all documents can be provided upon request.
