Year 5 bake bread!

Future Bake-Off stars in year 5!

This week in year 5 we have been practicing our baking skills. We learnt about how yeast works and the importance of hygiene. We then went on to design our own loaf, including our own individual ingredient. We followed the recipe and the final loaves looked brilliant! After they came out of the oven the whole school smelt delicious. We tasted and evaluated our bread and were all pleased with how it came out. Maybe you’ll see one of us on the Great British Bake Off next year!
